## Refund Overview

LV Peptides maintains strict refund policies consistent with the specialized nature of research peptides and chemicals. Due to product integrity requirements and regulatory considerations, refunds are limited and issued only under specific circumstances outlined in this policy.

## General Refund Policy

### Standard Policy: Store Credit

**For most eligible returns or issues, we issue store credit rather than cash refunds.**

Store credit:
– Never expires
– Can be used for any future purchase
– Is transferable between authorized research accounts
– Applies to all products and shipping costs

### Cash Refunds

Cash refunds to original payment methods are issued **only** in the following limited circumstances:
– Order cancellation before shipment (at our discretion)
– Duplicate charges or billing errors
– Fraudulent transactions
– Products that fail quality control verification (case-by-case)
– Situations where we cannot provide suitable replacement

**Research chemical purchases are generally not eligible for cash refunds due to the nature of the products.**

### Not Eligible for Refund

The following are **NOT** eligible for refund:

– Products that have been opened, used, or removed from packaging
– Products with broken seals or compromised packaging
– Products stored outside recommended conditions
– Products purchased more than 30 days ago
– Shipping costs (except for our error)
– Orders refused at delivery (unless our error)
– Products returned without authorization
– Any product used for purposes other than research
– Purchases by individuals not meeting eligibility requirements

## Refund Process

– Detailed explanation of the issue
– Photos (if applicable – damage, wrong item, quality issues)
– Preferred resolution (if applicable)

### Step 2: Review and Evaluation

Our team will review your request within 24-48 business hours:
– Verify order details and eligibility
– Review submitted documentation
– Determine appropriate resolution
– May request additional information

### Step 3: Resolution

We will notify you of our decision via email:
– **Approved**: Details of refund method and amount
– **Store Credit**: Credit applied to your account
– **Replacement**: New order created and shipped
– **Denied**: Explanation of decision and any alternative options

### Step 4: Processing

Once approved:
– **Store Credit**: Applied immediately to your account
– **Cash Refund**: Processed within 5-10 business days
– **Replacement**: Ships according to standard shipping timeframes

## Refund Methods

### Store Credit (Preferred Method)

– **Processing Time**: Immediate upon approval
– **Usage**: Applied automatically at checkout
– **Balance Check**: View in your account dashboard
– **Combination**: Can be combined with other payment methods
– **Transfer**: Contact us to transfer between authorized accounts

### Original Payment Method

– **Credit/Debit Cards**: 5-10 business days to appear on statement
– **Bank Transfers**: 7-14 business days
– **Digital Wallets**: 3-5 business days
– **Timing**: Depends on your financial institution

## Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued for:

## Shipping Cost Refunds

## Order Cancellation Refunds

Orders cancelled before shipment may qualify for refund:

### After Shipment

Once an order has shipped:
– Order cannot be cancelled

## Duplicate or Erroneous Charges

If you believe you were charged in error:

4. Verified errors refunded immediately to original payment method

## Fraudulent Transactions

Suspected fraudulent transactions will be:

## Research Compliance Verification

Before processing any refund, we verify:
– Customer eligibility (21+ and qualified researcher)
– Product was used for lawful research purposes only
– No violations of terms of service occurred

Failure to meet these criteria may result in refund denial.

## Wholesale Account Refunds

Wholesale accounts are subject to separate refund terms:

– Require manager approval for refunds over specified amounts

## Refund Disputes

## Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

### Chargeback Process

If a chargeback is initiated:
– We will provide documentation to payment processor
– Account may be temporarily suspended
– Future orders may require additional verification
– Repeated chargebacks may result in permanent account closure

## Currency and Exchange Rates

– All transactions processed in U.S. Dollars (USD)
– International cardholders subject to bank exchange rates
– Refunds issued in USD; exchange rate differences are customer’s responsibility
– No compensation for currency fluctuation differences

3. Select the relevant order
4. View refund status and details

## Lost or Stolen Packages

### Verified Lost Packages

If carrier confirms package is lost:
– Replacement shipped at no charge, OR
– Store credit issued for full amount
– Refund to original payment method at our discretion

### Stolen Packages

If package shows delivered but not received:
– File claim with carrier
– We will assist with carrier investigation
– Resolution depends on carrier findings
– Insurance may apply based on shipping method

## Promotional and Discount Refunds

### Discount Codes and Coupons

– Refunds calculated based on actual amount paid
– Promotional discounts are not refundable as cash
– Free shipping promotions: shipping costs not refunded
– Buy-one-get-one: both items must be returned for full refund

### Loyalty Points

– Points used for purchase are restored for returns
– Points earned on refunded purchases are deducted
